I have removed Chitika codes in my 6 sites two weeks ago. If you have been visiting this site and reading some articles, you’ll know that I only serve Google Adsense ads and Widgetbucks. Also, I’ve long given up on Smorty to make money online. :-(

Blog advertising makes money but sometimes, money earned is also dependent on the payouts of networks you are a member of.

A few minutes ago, I checked my mailbox and there were emails coming from the Bloggerwave website stating that I’ve paid for 10 jobs I did for the company ($100 worth in total). It’s been long overdue. I did the 10 jobs on the second week of May and they have paid me on an installment basis. First, they paid $30 last month then they paid $60 today for a total of $90. They are still $10 short of their full payment but according to my dashboard (from within Bloggerwave), the company is already fully paid. WTF!

PayPerPost Website is Down

Author: jps61974

I have been logging in to my PayPerPost account since yesterday noon but it seems I can’t get through. Payperpost’s site is down and it’s been 24 hours. I wonder if there are too many paid bloggers logging in that their servers are experiencing problems like overload.

After blogging for almost a year and having been involved in the blog advertising business for 3 months (yes, I have been active in blog advertising for 3 months only), there are some things I have realized in paid blogging.

First, making money online is not easy. Many new bloggers expect that making money online is easy because of the success stories of their new-found affiliations with other bloggers who allegedly have made serious cash in blogging for a couple of months. While some are true, most of the stories out there are nothing but publicity stunts or plain and simple crap.

One of the blog advertising networks I am a member of is Sponsoredreviews.com. For more than a week now, they have implemented a new bidding form which I find very convenient to use. You can now place bids on an opp you like without going back and forth the different subpages of the dashboard because all your blogs registered with them can now be seen in one location.

Before I have learned to make money online, I was so curious why so many bloggers and webmasters boast of their income (in thousands of dollars). My curiosity led me to explore the world of blog advertising. Initially, this was not my concern as a newbie blogger. All I wanted to do was post research articles about Nursing, education and computer science. That’s it, I said to myself.

I have been developing websites for 6 years and posting articles on blogs for less than a year now. One critical factor in a site’s success is the reliability of the servers of its web host. My sites were deranked for keywords I have ranked high for many months because of a server error. One time my serer was down for a few minutes but those few minutes were the same moments in time when the Google and Yahoo bots came to crawl my sites.

Entrecard is Down Again

Author: jps61974

Lately, Entrecard’s servers go down more frequently than in the past.  Is this because there are already thousands of new sites added to Entrecard’s database and thousands of bloggers sign in to Entrecard every minute?

This problem is annoying and has infuriated many bloggers whose advertisements (especially on expensive sites) cannot be reached by visitors to that site.

I have 5 blog sites since December of 2007. I thought at first it was easy to have 5 blogs because other bloggers even have 10 or more blogs. After a month or two, the painful truth hit me right in the face - I can’t possibly maintain all blogs efficiently. :-(
