After Typhoon Lawin hit our province, offline priorities kicked in. These involved cleaning the backyard, the motor vehicles, the garage, checking on wires, the garden and many other parts of the house. My chores were confined outside the house but wife’s turf is inside.

Learning How to be Patient

Today, it’s my schedule to renew my professional driver’s license at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Laoag City.  This is my fourth renewal in 10 years.  Driver’s licenses here in the Philippines are renewed every 3 years for the non-prof and prof types.

The only thing that makes me feel sick is the long queue at the booth.  Sometimes it takes a whole day to wait for the processing of a signed sheet of paper.
