Confused

Author: jps61974

Today, my other blog, What Have You, got the thumbs up from PPP authorities. My original intention was to use this blog as the main source of online income, not the other blog.

This is confusing to me because my other blog has a PR4 and it will hurt me in many ways if that blog will lose its PR (at least economically).  For this blog, I haven’t had enough time to even tweak its theme and I was hoping to give more time to it than the other one which is already doing well in terms of readership, structure and PR.

My best hope now is to give it a good thought if I will pursue making money with “What Have You” which was originally designed for education and research.  It has evolved to something I’ve never imagined when I started blogging.  Oh well, maybe that’s just how blogging really is.

My PR was dropped from 4 to 3 and now 0 because of the paid post I have. But, does PR really matters of you just want to express yourself?

I actually bought a new domain so that my PPP posts would be transferred there. I’d hate to see my personal blog go downt he drain.

gusto ko rin sanang kumita online kuya, pero i use Tagalog in my blog eh. hehe..

sayang naman ung PR ng isa mong blog if you won’t use it.. baka naman pwede mong singitan na lang ng PPP once in a while.. =)

    @ Buzzing Around,
Oo nga fren. That’s exactly my dilemma at the moment… Pero kailangan din nating rumaket nang konti eh. Hehehe. Ang sa kin eh controlled naman.

    @ Dre,
Yup, that’s exactly my fear, dear friend. My other blog is growing in terms of readership and good articles, and i don’t want to pollute it with too much ads. I will do paid ads there but not up to the extent of making it look like a money-making site instead of a hub for research and personal thoughts.

    @ Karmi,
May, mga companies na ok lang ang tagalog… SR yata ok lang sa kanila. I can also suggest that you try reading the FAQ’s of Smorty, Reviewme, Blogsvertise and PayU2Blog. Tingnan mo lang kung qualified na yung blog mo. I’m sure you can also make some money out of it. :-)

    @ Rickavieves,

    @ Sweet Lullaby,

My other blog is monetized a little… just a little lang naman to cover some of my expenses on domain + web hosting. besides i’ve put too much in it that i feel the need to get something back.

I don’t use PPP, I lost my PR. For my other blog which uses PPP, I have a PR3.
So I don’t think using PPP will make you lose your PR because, think about it, if that were true, how can there be any blogs with high PR on PPP- of which there are lots!
