I have 5 blog sites since December of 2007. I thought at first it was easy to have 5 blogs because other bloggers even have 10 or more blogs. After a month or two, the painful truth hit me right in the face - I can’t possibly maintain all blogs efficiently. 
Just imagine this, you need to write at least 5 articles per day if your intention is to update all your blogs everyday. For some an update of 3 times per week per blog is alright. Still, that requires you to write 15 articles per week. Still a great deal of time will be consumed.
Now, add to that my writing assignments for blog advertising companies and what their sometimes too demanding requirements. I will admit, sometimes I think of asking my wife to write for my blogs. But no, she just isn’t born to write. She’s a nurse, not a writer by nature. In terms of number, in my case, I am sometimes required to finish 5 writing jobs aside from my own write-ups (5 non-paid) which sums up to 10 articles per day. WTF!!!
There were even times when I told some friends who had the same problem to buy articles from somewhere else or hire a writer to fill in their shoes for a while. But I think in the long run, this won’t just work so I dropped the idea. This is the reason why blogging is becoming a semi full-time job because at the moment it is consuming more of my time than my offline business.
Maybe I need to get some break from blogging, say a day per week or maybe two days per week just to rejuvenate myself from all the stress caused by blogging.

Friend, I can’t even maintain my blog efficiently! Haha! I have 2 blogs, the other one I started on 2006 pa but only have less than 5 posts. Sa main blog ko nga hirap akong i-maintain, yun pa kayang marami, naku baka maloka na ako nun haha! Once a week na nga lang ako mag post eh.

I think it all comes down to planning , its pretty hard to post everyday in five blogs , so maintaining different posting frequencies could be the answer

Other than posting, there are other tasks. Yeah, time management could be the solution but it may not really be enough. Some blogs will still suffer.

Aba, Jess, full-time blogger ka na ba? Ang hirap ng ginagawa mo. Sa isang blog ko nga lang, hirap na ako. I decided to slow down a bit when my health was affected, you know, late nights, going up early for work. Sometimes late pa sa trabaho sa kaba-blog lang, hehee.

No, noto yet. Semi full-time pa lang. Hahaha. Nitong summer kasi fren mahina ang negosyo ko kaya they took a back seat in my priorities. I assigned my my business tasks to my wife tutal collection lang naman pag summer. Mahirap pala maging full-time fren. In fact, ayoko rin dahil sa health issues. Sa panahon ngayon, bawal magkasakit.

until now, i have tree blog. the first one, i created sine early 2006. and now i just create new one for last two months. I am hard a little bit to maintain them because i am busy with my full-time work every day. I just wrote all blog post at night at home. the last one i created i have not enough time to write it yet.

Thanks for dropping by and for your comment. You’re right, it’s really difficult to do many things at the same time like maintaining multiple blogs. Like you, I have offline jobs, too and I really find it so difficult to find the balance between my offline job and online activities.

dami rin pala u blog. same here, thought it’s easy having several blogs, mahirap rin pala coz we have to work out the traffic. i don’t have much time to blog hop so hina talaga ng traffic ko.

Totoo kapatid. Minsan naisip ko nga din na magpahinga muna kaso ang hirap lalo na kung iisipin mo ang sinimulan mong responsibility.
