The photo on the left reminded me (when I first saw it) of a common scenario in Baguio and Benguet province in the Philippines. It’s part of their culture. Mothers in those places carry their babies wherever they go even in the farms. Other places like in Indonesia and Malaysia practice this. According to some local folks in Baguio, carrying babies wherever they go makes their bond (mother) with the child stronger.
