Backyard Food Production in the Philippines

Food production in the Philippines is currently low. Many farm lands have been converted into malls, factories, subdividions and parks. Rice, the staple food of most Filipino families, is even experiencing this low production which forces the government to import rice from neighboring Asian countries.
