I have recently observed in our place (Laoag City and Ilocos Norte) that China-made cellphones have invaded local electronic, computer and cell phone stores. I even saw in a hardware some cheap Nokia N95 8GB Clone cell phones and Toshibo Nokia N99i+ Mobile TV phones on display. Unbelievable.

Filipinos are fond of buying cellphones. In fact, one study indicated that an average family in the Philippines has 3-4 cell phones per household. Wow! For some members of affluent families, each member even possesses 2-3 cell phones. Now tell me, is the Philippines the texting capital of the world or what?
