If you have school children, then you probably know how important nutrition is for them to cope up with the physical and mental rigors of schooling. Below is a list suggested by Dr. Mao, an expert in nutrition and health on how you can help your children boost their immune system. The multiple intelligences theory by Howard Gardner (probably not related to Jennifer Gardner of “Alias”) has been viewed at first as funny. Some even called it baseless. This is because, in a nutshell, the Theory of Multiple Intelligences was based on Gardner’s observations on his own children. On the other hand, recent studies in education, suggest that Gardner’s theory (which now includes nine domains of intelligence) could be valid. Tattoo has become a social symbol. Teenagers are usually the ones who get a tattoo. It’s perhaps one way of being “in”. Today, it’s my schedule to renew my professional driver’s license at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Laoag City. This is my fourth renewal in 10 years. Driver’s licenses here in the Philippines are renewed every 3 years for the non-prof and prof types.
The only thing that makes me feel sick is the long queue at the booth. Sometimes it takes a whole day to wait for the processing of a signed sheet of paper.

As an educator myself, I know how important education is not only in molding a person but in nation-building. In the Philippines, recent reports about aptitude and number of children in school came in opposing directions this year.
According to ABS-CBN News, the good news is, the performance of students in national aptitude examinations has improved significantly these past five years. Good you might think. But read on…

The Philippines is perhaps the capital of used cars in the Asian region. This is because anywhere in the country, especially in urban areas like the Greater Manila Area (GMA), used cars shops/stores and distribution networks are so many. Filipinos everywhere in the country love buying used cars especially those manufactured in Korea like Hyundai and Kia. We see so many of these models filling up many streets. Perhaps it has already become part of the Filipino culture to buy used cars.

Filipino Bloggers using Wordpress as a publishing tool should check out the latest details on WordCamp Philippines.
