Many modern devices nowadays are GPS-enabled. Cell phones, watches, tracking devices are equipped with GPS capabilities. Global Positioning System (GPS) is becoming a global trend. But what is a GPS?
As per definition,
Global Positioning System (GPS) is comprised of 24 U.S. government owned satellites that circle 12,000 miles above the earth, twice a day in precise orbits, so that several are always in view from any position. The system is designed to provide worldwide positioning services with an accuracy ranging from 10 to 15 meters. Instant location information enables users to ascertain exactly where their vehicles or assets are at anytime, anywhere in the world. Due to minor timing errors and satellite orbit errors, however, more precise accuracies are unattainable with standard GPS. Atmospheric conditions can also affect GPS signals and their arrival time on Earth.
GPS-enabled devices send and receive signals much like cell phones do. However, the position of the object is what it really monitors. This technology is important. Cars equipped with a GPS Tracking have lesser probability of getting stolen. if stolen, it’s only a mtter of time before the authorities find the car kudos to the GPS tracking device. Other crimes have also been solved because of GPS.
In addition, GPS tracking devices provided by companies like LandAirSea Systems, Inc. come with great features. The GPS tracking devices are compatible with Google Earth, they are easy to use, small and easy to conceal, the tracking key is accurate, have strong magnets and are water-resistant making them them the best GPS tracking devices out there. You can use them to track your cars because you can put them under the hood.
